This site is written by 2 modern day parents and gives a perspective that most people can relate to: When you think you have everything figured out, life will throw a haymaker from the top rope that will have you seeing double.

“Call of Daddy” is written from the perspective of Jesse. The father, patriarch and often times victim of his brewing hoard. He’ll be detailing stories that he experiences with his kids, his life, as well as random things he finds interesting, funny and or gross.

“Call of Mommy” is told from the perspective of Mayra. The mother, matriarch and fitness junky of the bunch. She’ll be writing about motherhood, all while trying to keep it together while surviving on pre-workout and dry shampoo. Always keeping it 100%.

This is our story. If you’re a perfect parent who never struggled…. well round of applause for you. Get out. This is for us regular parents who sometimes look at their family baffled and think what did I do in a past life.
